Morning hunters should arrive and register at the office at 7:00 - 7:30 a.m. and afternoon hunters should arrive and register at the office at 12:00 - 12:30pm Please be on time for registration. Do not arrive early.

All quail hunts include professional guide, hunting dogs, transportation on the grounds, and non-alcoholic drinks and refreshments.

For quail, we recommend a 7 ½ to 8 load; for pheasant and tower shoot, we recommend a 6 load; and for wobble deck, we recommend a target load.

Hunting licenses are required for turkey hunts, and trappers agent license for alligator hunters.

We encourage parents to bring their children. Gun safety is most important at SLP, and children will be evaluated prior to hunting. We suggest they take a hunter safety course. Our experienced guides will make the hunt an unforgettable experience for you and your child.

Absolutely, you are more than welcome to bring your own bird dogs and guide them alongside our staff guide. If you do, just please let us know when reserving the hunt. We will always have our dogs available.

Yes, we have shotguns available for rent for $25 per hunter/per hunt.

Yes, 12, 16, 20, 28, and 410 gauge shells are available for sale.

We always recommend you be comfortable and safe when hunting. This is a personal preference.

Hunter Orange is required while hunting and a complimentary hunter orange hat will be provided. Safety is always first, and the more orange the better.
